Dr. Cheryl Hoffman Dr. Cheryl Hoffman grew up in Cincinnati and did her undergraduate work at the University of Kentucky, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After meeting in dental school, Dr. Cheryl and Dr. Tom married and purchased a small existing dental practice which has now become today’s state of the art facility. Dr. Cheryl has enjoyed being involved with many philanthropic organizations including, Brace, March of Dimes Women’s Board, The Childhood League and Hair Theater. She has also served as a chairperson on the Akita Council for First Community Church. Dr. Cheryl enjoys being involved in the Seattle Study Club, an invitation-only dental study group which focuses on the cutting edge of dental advancements through extensive continuing education. She is also involved with The Invisalign Study Club and has been helping her patients to achieve a beautiful straight smile with clear aligners for over 10 years. Comprehensive dental health and patient education is not only Dr. Cheryl’s goal but her passion. She attends over 100 hours of continuing education courses a year to stay abreast of the latest dental education and procedures. She also enjoys travel, working out, cooking and hanging out with her family.
Dr. Tom Hoffman Dr. Tom Hoffman is a native of Upper Arlington. After graduating from Upper Arlington High School he attended Ohio Wesleyan University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he met Dr. Cheryl. Dr. Hoffman began his career as an associate in an established northwest Columbus practice while on faculty part time in the Restorative Dentistry Department at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He joined his wife in the Upper Arlington practice full time thereafter. Dr. Tom enjoys photography, tennis, skiing and music. He is a self-possessed audiophile. He is also an active member of the Seattle Study Club, an invitation-only dental study group which focuses on the cutting edge of dental advancements through extensive continuing education. Dr. Tom is also a study club member with the Implant Technology Institute, I.T.I. Dr. Tom’s love of dentistry shows through with every smiling patient that leaves our office.
Education: Kim received her dental assisting training through the United States Air Force Dental Assisting program as a volunteer. She has been in dentistry for 26 years. 24 years of her 26 years of experience has been with Hoffman Dental!
Why I love dentistry: My patients- I love the daily interaction with our patients and knowing that we are making a difference in their overall health.
Favorite activity: I am very involved with the American Legion Auxiliary and work with veterans and their families’. Mark and I do a lot of fundraising for the Legacy Scholarship Fund.

Education: Mary graduated in 1982 from OSU with a degree in Dental Hygiene and a teaching certificate in Health Education.
Why I love dentistry: I love dentistry because I love working with the patients and helping them understand the importance of good oral health.
Family: I am married with two daughters. The oldest teaches high school English and the youngest is a paralegal.
Favorite activity: I love to read and listen to music. I also enjoy quilting and crafting.

Education: Jenny graduated from Washtenaw Community College with an Applied Science degree and certificate in dental assisting in 2003. She also received a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2006.
Why I love dentistry: The patients! Helping our patients to understand the importance of how their oral health is linked to their overall health is extremely important to me.
Family: I have been married to my husband Sam since September 2011. We have a 16 month old daughter, Lilly, who has been the joy of our lives and are expecting our second in August. We also have a boxer named Saj.
Favorite activity: Being outside, experiencing new restaurants with my husband and live music. We try to go to as many concerts as we can.

Education: Leslie has been working in dentistry as a dental assistant for 7 years.
Why I love dentistry: I love helping people reach their desired goals for their dental and overall health.
Family: I have been married to my husband, Brent, since July 2012. We have two fur babies; our dog Zoey and our cat Maxwell.
Favorite activity: I love to decorate my house. I am especially interested in DIY projects. I also love to spend time with my family.

Education: Christina graduated from Baker College in Michigan in 2010, and has been working at Hoffman Dental since November 2012.
Why I love dentistry: I love being part of a team that helps patients go from unhealthy and frustrated about their teeth to healthy and confident about their smile. My work involves tools and techniques that I use every day but I never get tired of seeing the results that it gives. That journey to health is as unique as each of my patients.
Family: In June, 2010 I married Benjamin Wagner, the boy who has teased me since kindergarten, and who still teases me because I “get all excited about teeth!”
Favorite activity: I love to run and I am currently working towards a half marathon. I also like to play the violin.
Favorite vacation spot: Mackinac Island and Upper Peninsula Michigan.
